GBBD - Spring has Sprung!

"Every Spring is the only Spring, a perpetual astonishment."
Ellis Peters

Old Man Winter left the door open and Spring has a leg in. As April marches on, a few brave flowers have bloomed.
Daffodils are so bright and cheery

I have probably been told over and over what this plant is but I never remember! In any case, it faithfully blooms.

Forsythia is one of the very first to bloom.
Pulmonaria in all it's glory.

This Primrose is an amazing color.

A 3rd year Hellebore blooming!

Another beautiful Primrose.
Happy Spring and Happy Gardening from zone 6b Massachusetts!

  1. Spring has certainly sprung these last few weeks. At the end of March the garden was very green but now it is a riot of colour. It looks like the same has happened in your garden

  3. Seeing primroses in your garden tells me that you have plenty of moisture through summer. I can't get them to grow beyond spring. Happy GBBD.

  4. Isn't spring wonderful? Thinking that, a month ago we had over two feet of snow on the ground. Today, it was in the 70's. Happy GBBD from upstate New York.

  5. I see those flowers in most linked blogs, they differ in angles of shots, in growth, floriferousness and/or varieties. Yet, despite the so many pics i still keep on looking on them, meaning they are beautiful. We have different color combinations here in the tropics and mostly warm colors abound. So i love looking at the cold climates purples and blues.

  6. Lovely flowers! I feel like spring came all at once this year, but it is most welcome! It is hard not to be outside with all those glorious spring flowers blooming.
