Some long shots from the 2016 garden

Since we are barely coming into Spring here in zone 6B Southeast Massachusetts, I thought I would post some pictures from last summer. I started at the end of May and went through to the first of September. You can see it gradually full out and then start to die down.

Today was a glorious day.....60 F (28C) and sunny. Oh, hope! Wouldn't it be wonderful if this was the end of snow and sleet!
I managed to get some raking and planting done and am very glad the plants are finally in the ground and will get a good soaking from the rain we are having tomorrow.
The new arrivals are Crocosmia, Irises, Succulents, Phlox and a climbing Rose. Wonderful additions to the big garden.
I hope your gardens are full of new life.
Happy Gardening,
Sally 😊

  1. Hi Sally, I love your place, from the patio, the different structures, and of course the blooms! We are having cool temps and rain. Even though winter was mild, the plants are behind in coming up and blooming compared to past years here in SE Nebraska.

  2. Hi Sally: Your garden is warm and welcoming! It's exactly the type of garden I really enjoy. And the sitting spaces are placed beautifully. Isn't it exciting to think about the growing season ahead?! :)
